Africa–China Trade and Investment Conference 2025: A New Era

Join us for the Africa–China Trade and Investment Conference & Awards 2025, where leaders from both continents will explore opportunities for collaboration, investment, and growth. This event promises to be a pivotal moment in strengthening economic ties and fostering sustainable development.

About the Conference and Awards

The Africa–China Trade and Investment Conference & Awards 2025 is being organized and hosted by The Business Executive Communications Group, in collaboration with the African Chamber of Trade and the International Business Council. This high-profile event is a strategic response to the intensifying economic partnership between Africa and China, recognizing the massive potential for mutual trade, investment, and development under private sector leadership.

Unlike traditional forums that focus primarily on government-level diplomacy, this event emphasizes private sector engagement—targeting business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and key institutions across Africa and China.

As part of a broader initiative to accelerate economic transformation in Africa, the conference aims to deepen partnerships based on trade, investment, innovation, and shared prosperity. Africa’s increasing economic openness, driven by initiatives like the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), is aligning with China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and broader foreign investment strategy—creating fertile ground for deeper commercial integration.

China is Africa’s largest trading partner, and Chinese investments across energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, technology, and services continue to grow. However, to unlock the full potential of this relationship, there is a need to shift from extractive trade to value-added trade and investment, enabling sustainable development, job creation, and industrial growth on both sides.

The 2025 conference will serve as a trade and investment facilitation platform, convening:

Individuals and enterprises recognized for their outstanding contributions to Africa–China trade and investment
Government institutions, regulators, and trade promotion agencies
Private businesses, financiers, entrepreneurs, and supporting service providers

The program will spotlight key initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese development finance instruments, Africa’s industrialization policies, and AfCFTA. It will also explore how businesses can leverage these frameworks for competitive advantage.

The event will culminate in a five-star gala awards ceremony to honor organizations and individuals who exemplify excellence in advancing Africa–China trade and investment. This will include recognition of impactful CEOs, enterprises, diplomatic actors, and institutions facilitating bilateral commerce.

Awardees will be selected through a transparent, evidence-based process, conducted by research consultants and evaluated by an expert Awards Jury. Winners will receive plaques and citations, and benefit from enhanced brand visibility, networking, and global credibility.
